Arrival and Briefing

Arrive in Lisbon and take some time to unwind. Enjoy a refreshing swim at the beach or relax with a drink at the Lisbon Commerce Square.
At 5 PM, join the briefing to meet fellow travelers and get a quick overview of your active holidays in Portugal.

Hiking in Sintra
Begin the morning exploring the fairytale village of Sintra, strolling through its charming streets and discovering historic palaces. Continue into the magnificent forests of the Sintra Natural Park, where granite boulders, deep green landscapes, and frequent mist create an atmosphere that feels truly magical.

Kayaking details

Hiking The Aqueduct and Évora city tour
The tour begins at the farm with a visit to the Classic Car Museum, where you can see Jaguars, Austin Healeys, Porsches, and even a Jeep that raced in the Paris-Dakar Rally.
Enjoy the peaceful farm atmosphere, meet the farm animals, and explore the vegetable garden.
We start hiking along the 16th-century aqueduct path on towards Évora, learning about cork, olives, and aromatic herbs along the way.
Upon arrival in Évora, follow Rua do Cano (“Pipe Street”) to see how the aqueduct stretches into the city center. Explore the narrow white streets of Évora’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed historical center, including a visit to the Bones Chapel, one of the city’s most unique landmarks, with entrance included.
A light lunch will be served at Casa da Avó (Granny's house), a local café by the market.

Kayak trip in Moinho do Alcaide
Enjoy a peaceful kayaking experience on the calm waters near Évora, paddling along the river Degebe or across the scenic Divor Lake. Surrounded by open countryside and birdsong, this gentle activity offers a moment of true relaxation. After kayaking, take a short walk along the riverbank, where local wildlife and grazing animals complete the tranquil setting.

Cycling from our farm to Arraiolos and back
Follow the eco-trail (a dedicated bike path built along a former railway line) as it winds through small farms and peaceful countryside.
In Arraiolos, the hilltop castle is one of the major highlights, offering stunning views, and the Arraiolos Museum is well worth a visit.
With two wineries along the route, you’ll have plenty of opportunities for tastings and relaxing breaks, making this ride not only scenic but also rich in culture and entertainment.

Cycling to S. Miguel de Machede
Bike towards Igrejinha, one of the most picturesque villages in the Alentejo, known for its bright white houses painted with colorful stripes.
The day is rich in visits to local producers, it's hard to select in between the many choices.
You will ride through peaceful countryside and hardly meet any cars.
Discover how cork is harvested, sorted and transformed, and learn about the countless uses of this extraordinary natural material and one of Portugal’s most iconic exports. All this in a guided visit to the Cork factory.

Cycling from our farm to Valongo
Today’s ride is one of the easiest and most peaceful stages of a cycling holiday in the Alentejo, following long sections of a new, traffic-free ecotrail.
Along the way, cyclists can choose to stay on the ecotrail for a fully immersive natural experience or take optional detours through small villages, stopping for coffee, meeting locals, or enjoying a picnic in scenic surroundings. The day ends with a well-earned wine tasting, followed by a transfer back to our farm.
