Description
This is a true food-focused cycling tour in Évora, combining relaxed bike riding with tastings of the region’s most iconic flavours. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Évora blends history, culture, and gastronomy in a compact, bike-friendly setting that invites you to explore and indulge.
We stop at small traditional shops, local grocery stores with organic products, and pastry shops famous for their conventual sweets. Along the way you can taste and buy regional wine, olive oil, jams, honey and chocolates. The diversity and intensity of flavours will surprise you.
Temptation is the keyword of the day, and the cycling helps balance out those extra calories.
Between tastings, we take you inside Évora’s must-see landmarks, including the cathedral, the university and the iconic Bones Chapel.
The tour is suitable for children who are able to ride a bike. We provide bikes for kids and child seats when needed. For families with younger children, a private tour is recommended and available for an additional cost.
