This is a guided cycling tour in Alentejo, Portugal, combining luxury accommodation in an amazing 15th-century convent located just 2 km from the historic center of Évora, and the visit to selected family owned projects, each one with their special history and unique features.

You will feel rewarded with the high knowledge of your local guide and the gorgeous landscape.
You don’t have to pack and unpack every day. Every morning you will meet your guide after a delicious breakfast and indulge on a beautiful bike ride.

Arrival and briefing
Transfer from airport (included in PLUS tours)
Arrive early at the airport and head to Évora, UNESCO heritage site. After checking in, relax by the pool, wander the picturesque streets, or soak in the tranquil atmosphere or the SPA.
At 6 PM, gather for a welcome drink, a chance for all participants to meet fellow travelers, get a briefing of the upcoming routes and kick off your Portuguese adventure in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Cycling to S. Miguel de Machede
Bike towards Igrejinha, one of the most picturesque villages in the Alentejo, known for its bright white houses painted with colorful stripes.
The day is rich in visits to local producers, it's hard to select in between the many choices.
You will ride through peaceful countryside and hardly meet any cars.

Cycling from Reguengos to Monsaraz
This day’s cycling route begins with a morning transfer to Reguengos de Monsaraz, with the final destination set for the spectacular fortified village of Monsaraz. A medieval stronghold overlooking the Spanish border.
Throughout the day, the ride is enriched with frequent stops and discoveries. You’ll cycle through the largest pottery village in the country, several prehistoric monuments rise quietly from the landscape, offering a powerful reminder of how long this territory has been shaped by human presence.
The journey blends culture, craftsmanship and sweeping landscapes, culminating in a rewarding climb to one of the most iconic villages in the Alentejo.

Cycling from Estremoz to Terena
This day’s ride leads into the marble capital of Portugal, this white gold shapes the landscape and the culture. Since centuries it has been the economic engine of this region, and its presence can be felt everywhere in the wide streets, elegant façades, and tall buildings carved from stone.
Along the route, you can see lagoons of vivid colors, in shades of blue, green, and rust red.
Some historical monuments will also capture our attention, castles, palaces or sanctuaries will pop up during the day, a peaceful setting that blends nature, spirituality, history, and medieval architecture.
