- This bike tour takes you through beautiful landscapes in Portugal and Spain.
- 4 border crossings…but no border control.
- Marvão, the most special castle in Portugal to me!
- Elvas, classified by UNESCO as World Heritage Site
- Delicious Portuguese gastronomy, always present at our unique gourmet picnics and selected restaurants.
- One of our most sustainable tours
Most nights are spent in beautiful, charming hotels. Along the way you’ll ride through the dramatic hilltop castle of Marvão, the medieval streets of Castelo de Vide, and the fortified city of Elvas (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). With the Guadiana River marking the frontier, this is a rare cycling week where you’ll bike in both Portugal and Spain.
Two countries, one itinerary with four border crossings and zero border hassle.
Meet the warm (if initially shy) Alentejo people, enjoy Mediterranean-style gastronomy, and discover local crafts: cork, marble, olive oil and more. And the wine? Come and judge for yourself.
If this trip is too tough for you, choose our E-bike option
