This is an ideal one-day guided tour for guests staying at our country farmhouse, Monte do Serrado de Baixo. The experience combines countryside, culture, and gentle cycling in a relaxed and immersive way.

The day begins at the farm with a visit to the Classic Car Museum, where you’ll find Jaguars, Austin Healeys, Porsches, and even a Jeep that raced in the Paris–Dakar Rally. Take time to enjoy the peaceful rural setting, meet the farm animals, and explore the vegetable garden.

The bike tour then starts along a traffic-free ecotrail toward Évora, following a mostly downhill and easy route. Upon arrival, you’ll enter the city through Rua do Cano, where the aqueduct reaches the urban core, and explore Évora’s narrow white streets within its UNESCO World Heritage–listed historic centre. Highlights include a guided visit to the Bones Chapel, with entrance included.

A light lunch is served at Casa da Avó, a local café by the market, offering a taste of everyday Évora life.

In the afternoon, the experience continues on foot along the 16th-century aqueduct path, walking back toward the farm while learning about cork, olive trees, and aromatic herbs that shape the surrounding landscape.

Experienced cyclists may choose to complete the full route by bike. The aqueduct path is rideable but requires care, with narrow sections and a few steps where dismounting is necessary.

The tour is suitable for children who can ride a bike and enjoy walking. Kids’ bikes are available, and private tours or child seats can be arranged for families seeking a more personalised experience. Private tours and child seats are available for an additional fee.

Optional Add-ons
