With this cycling city break you have the opportunity to know the history of the most emblematic places in Lisbon and is surroundings.

Every day is different, you can visit a tile’s factory, also castles and palaces or in contrast taste wines and some of Portugal’s most traditional sweets.

City and country views, palaces and beaches, all combined in one fantastic bike tour.

Get to know the cities, their history and unique details, but also the Natural Parks of Sintra and Arrábida.

Easy days with a challenge here and there that makes the ride fun and certainly relaxing, while you see and taste the historical and gastronomic heritage.

Lisbon Bike Tour

In the beginning of the day we will be transferred to the starting point.

The Lisbon Bike Tour is the best way to see Lisbon.

This cycling city break will take you to our secret spots. Suggest you the great places to eat and share with you our ancient and exciting legacy.

Starting in the Monsanto Park, you will learn about the famous Lisbon aqueduct and its quarries and mills. Here you will also learn about the most important local trees and vegetation.

We will cover the major historical areas and tell you about some of the small corners of this cosmopolitan and vibrant city.

Stops include Parque Eduardo VII, for great views, the river Tagus, the Torre de Belém, where you’ll learn about the discoveries period, Praça Marquês do Pombal, Restauradores, Rossio, Praça da Figueira, Praça do Comércio and the Docas Area.

On the way we stop for a ginginha (typical liqueur) and for the famous pastel de nata (cake).

Tour will include a stop for lunch in the downtown area. (Lunch not included)

Sintra Bike Tour

Cycling in Sintra.

In the beginning of the day we will be transferred to the starting point.

On our way to our bike trip we will stop in the center of Sintra. You can have a little walk and feel the “chic” atmosphere of this old village which was the first choice for the Portuguese aristocracy. The village has plenty of beautiful manor houses and breaths “glamour”.

After we drive up to the Pena Palace, from where you can enjoy a beautiful view. Visit to the palace is optional but highly recommended!

From here we’ll start our bike tour, through magnificent green forest which opens your lungs. The granite boulders dot the landscape and in misty days there is a fairy tail atmosphere.

Arriving to the forest border we suddenly see the coastal sand dunes and its all downhill until the beach!

At a beach bar we will stop for a lunch of toast and beer. (Lunch not included)

Have a swim and continue riding along the coast until the famous village of Cascais, where we dare you to try a Santini Ice cream! 

After this you will have a transfer to Palmela.

Cycling from Palmela to Sesimbra

Cycling from Palmela to Sesimbra

Start the day on the historical center and the castle of Palmela. It was built in between the Sado and Tejo river basins. Very little is known about Palmela before Dom Afonso Henriques conquest of Lisbon, but the hill and the surroundings had human occupation since the pre historic times.

After you can visit the Azeitão village, the winery of José Maria da Fonseca and a tile factory.
Before you arrive to Sesimbra, pass through the Arrábida Natural Park and is incomparable natural beauty. In here the blue of the sea mix with the green vegetation that covers the mountain range.

In the end of the day visit the Sesimbra Castle, originally built in the 9th century during the Moorish occupation. In the end of the 12th century, after the Christian conquest of the castle, the walls were rebuilt and the village gain more importance with the fishing and sailing industry.

You can also bike a little more visiting the cape Espichel and is sanctuary.
